Jack Quaid has been on the most charming press tour imaginable drumming up interest for this wild little action movie. Paramount’s latest stars The Boys star alongside Amber Midthunder. The premise? Deal or No Deal Island – Streaming on NBC

Friends, we’re seeing our first double-elimination ever. 5 players remain and our host Joe Manganiello is going to make them earn that trip to the finale. Only three get to make the final step. No pressure. Oh, how I adore low stakes drama for me that looks excruciating on television. Give it a go, you’ll probably enjoy it!

Blitz – Streaming on Apple TV+

A World War II story told through a surprisingly current lens. Dickens feels an apt comparison for the hardscrabble surroundings the characters face. War hits the hardest for the civilian populations on the ground. Director Steve McQueen does not shy away from that reality in this London-based drama. Nine year old George gets a taste of this horror firsthand with his mother Rita. They’re separated and need to find each other among the chaos. Moving stuff.

Cobra Kai – Streaming on Netflix

And, so we say goodbye to Cobra Kai. The little streaming series that could reaches a conclusion after seven years, six seasons, and more platform moves that we could outline here. Will Ferrell and Reese Witherspoon in a wedding comedy? Sounds strange on the surface, but You’re Cordially Invited works! Witherspoon is a wedding planner trying to make her sister’s big day great. Ferrell’s daughter is tying the knot and the venue is double booked. There are laughs, a little emotional catharsis and everyone seems to be having a good time. We’ll take it honestly!

Broken Rage – Streaming on Prime Video

Takeshi Kitano really just does what he wants to do. And, we’re all the better for it. This time, the director takes us along for the ride with an aging hitman. “Mouse” is a mysterious man that might seem unremarkable, but he’s got the goods when it comes to taking out targets. He’s cornered and has to go undercover to help the authorities. Broken Rage has a wild premise that will throw you for a loop if you go in without reading much about it. A strange time and a fun film to be sure.

The Night Agent Season 2 – Streaming on Netflix

The Night Agent is a strange case. Easily one of the most talked-about series of the past year from Netflix fans. And, it seems like Season 2 will only be adding to that fervor.
