Fortnite is teasing a massive crossover with Adventure Time this week. On social media, the Epic Games account said they’re heading for some “distant lands” this Friday. Adventure Time’s now iconic theme tune has those words stuck in a lot of viewers’ heads.

Epic Games wanted to make this tease as abundantly clear as possible. There are some very large Finn the Human and Jake the Dog pictures included to draw a direct line from Fortnite to Adventure Time. This weekend, players are going to grab their friends and go to some distant lands. Check out the post for yourself down below!

There’s more Fortnite content to be excited about. Sabrina Carpenter’s event will overlap with Adventure Time’s rollout as well. Finn and Jake with a pop songstress? That usually works out pretty well. It’s shaping up to be a fun summer inside the game.

Fortnite Teases Adventure Time Collab Release Date

Finn and Jake are stepping into the world of Fortnite at just the right time. The PlayStation Cup is right around the corner. You know you’re going to see some wild rounds once it gets rolling later this month.

Fortnite collab Adventure Time

Fortnite’s blog says, “This Solo Battle Royale Cup is divided into Qualifiers and Finals. The Qualifiers take place on April 29, and the top 100 points-earning players in each region will proceed to the Finals on April 30. Placing in the top 40 or top 100 (depending on your region) in the Finals will get you a cash prize! If you’re a PlayStation player, jump in.”

“In the Qualifiers, competitors can play up to ten matches within their region’s three-hour time window. In the Finals, there will be a three-hour session with matches starting approximately every 30 minutes. Competitors can play up to six matches in this session, and if they miss a match, they’ll be considered to have finished in (or tied for) last place with zero eliminations for that match.”
