Adult Swim Reveals Oh My God…Yes! Digital Release

Oh My God…Yes! A Series of Relatable Circumstances is finally here on Adult Swim. The new animated series is also out on digital today. Adele “Supreme” Williams is the creative mind behind Oh My God…Yes! A Series of Relatable Circumstances, and she’s really found a fresh approach for this new adult swim series.

Three friends named Sunny, Tulip, and Ladi are trying to get by in the distant future of South Central, Los Angeles. Tech has become even more a part of their lives than it is in our own time. So, that’s going to complicate things. If other adult swim fare ranks highly on your watchlist, Oh My God…Yes! A Series of Relatable Circumstances is probably going to fit right in. adult swim boss Michael Ouweleen is excited to see fans finally posting about the show.

Ouweleen said, “Usually when someone uses a futuristic setting to comment on the present, it’s a brooding downe. But Adele has made a future that is both plausible, relatable, and most importantly, unique and hilarious.” 

“The series is ripe with unconventional characters, and the geography of the world honors that of the South Central I grew up in but with a sci fi twist,” he continued. “The scenarios our characters wind up in are pretty absurd but within the absurdity is a smart, bold exploration of — and commentary on — the human condition.”

What Is Oh My God…Yes! A Series of Relatable Circumstances About?

“The 7-episode series is created and executive produced by Adele “Supreme” Williams an Emmy^TM-nominated Writer (Netflix’s My Dad the Bounty Hunter). The quarter-hour adult animated comedy is executive produced by Dominique Braud (“The Simpsons”) and follows three women, Sunny, Tulip, and Ladi, who live in the not-so-distant future of South Central LA.”
