One of the most exciting scenes of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker was arguably the arrival of Lando’s resistance fleet at Exegol. If you’re a fan like me, you probably can’t wait for the home release so that you can pause and sift through the fleet to try and identify the ships. Most easily identifiable of them (other than the Millennium Falcon, of course) was the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels. It seems some of our other, animated friends joined the battle as well.

The animated Star Wars Resistance lasted a mere two seasons. Geared more towards a younger audience, it never quite gained the same traction as its predecessors, The Clone Wars and Rebels. Notwithstanding, the Star Wars show did finish with a strong, second season. Spanning the events of The Last Jedi and leading up to The Rise of Skywalker, Season 2 took on a heavier, more desperate tone. It was time for the Colossus and the Aces to join the fight. But who would survive the events of the show? Better yet, if they survived, would they make it to Exegol?

Following the series finale this past Sunday, Pablo Hidalgo of the Lucasfilm Story Group revealed just how many ships arrived at Exegol: 14,000. Among them were three from Star Wars Resistance:

Well, one thing we do know is that among the 14,000 ships that arrive with Lando Calrissian over Exegol in Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker are the Fireball, Jarek Yeager’s racer, and Torra Doza’s ship,” Hidalgo told starwars.com.

As with the Ghost from Star Wars Rebels, the fine folks at Industrial Light & Magic “created photo-real versions of these vessels to populate the movie’s space battle.” You can see those versions of the Resistance ships here in this article. Whether or not they survived that battle, well, we’ll just have to guess.

Star Wars Resistance has ended, but you can still catch current episodes on the DisneyNow app. The entirety of Season 1 is also available on Disney+.
