This week is shaping up to be a huge one for movie fans. Fans of superhero films, spy flicks, and more are going to be very happy in this kickoff for the holiday season. Wonder Woman 1984, Birds of Prey, No Time to Die, and Black Widow are all scheduled to release trailers this week. Some of them have been confirmed like No Time to Die posting this teaser for the trailer.
The trailer for the supposed final Bond film for Daniel Craig, arrives on Wednesday. In just ten seconds, fans are shown a multitude of images showing off the film. Bond in his “casual attire” having retired. James back in his tux. A motorcycle chase, car wrecks, gunfights, and of course, Gatling guns in the headlights of an Aston Martin. It wouldn’t be Bond without the hallmarks of the character.
No Time To Die is slated to release in theaters April 2020. It’s going to star: Daniel Craig, Rami Malek, Ana de Armas, Christoph Waltz, Ralph Fiennes, Naomie Harris, and Lashana Lynch.
Wonder Woman 1984 Date
Wonder Women 1984 had already confirmed it’s trailer date far in advance. In a somewhat unlikely place, Comic Con Experience in São Paulo on December 8th. Gal Gadot and Patty Jenkins will be attending a panel at the event for the upcoming Warner Bros. film. Luckily for everyone not in attendance, the panel will be live on Twitter. As for details about the film, Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, and Robin Wright will be returning. Newcomers include Pedro Pascal and Kristen Wiig. Wonder Woman 1984 will release June 2020.
Speculated Trailers for Black Widow and Birds of Prey
Now for the trailers that don’t necessarily have solid dates attached to them. Black Widow hasn’t gotten a lot of attention from Marvel or fans lately. We know the cast includes Scarlett Johansson, David Harbour, Florence Pugh, Rachel Weisz, and reportedly Robert Downey Jr.. We’ll have to see because Marvel India’s Twitter account might have spilled some news about when we can expect the trailer for the film. This one fits firmly into the speculation camp but Marvel hasn’t taken headlines recently unless you count Martin Scorsese torching their movies. We’ll have to see with this one. Black Widow releases May 1, 2020.
Birds of Prey Trailer
This one is even more in the speculation camp than Black Widow. A Twitter source named Daniel Richtman is reporting that we’ll be seeing a new trailer for this film upcoming. I don’t like to report on Twitter news too often. Following news of Warner Bros. having reshoots on the film to fix the scores with test audiences, I’m sure they’ll have new footage for us to see. The reaction to the first trailer for Birds of Prey was also a bit lukewarm. I’m hugely excited for this film and I want to see how they’ll take the character of Harley Quinn after her coming out party in Suicide Squad.
That’s it for the trailer roundup for a busy start to December, we’ll have to see what lies in wait for us this week. It’ll be a hot holiday and summer season for movies and superheroes in 2020. Let us know what you think about these upcoming trailers.
