Shark Girl is a thrilling new take on a Shark movie. Set against the vibrant backdrop of Venice Beach, California, the story follows Mia, a stunning young influencer whose life takes a dramatic turn after a harrowing shark attack leaves her with extraordinary abilities. Instead of succumbing to fear, Mia embraces her newfound powers, morphing into a monstrous apex predator with an insatiable hunger for revenge.
When watching the trailer for the film, it seems the filmmakers are taking a delightfully playful approach to the genre. They are intertwining the rich lore of werewolves with the sheer terror of sharks. Thus creating a unique blend that promises both thrills and chills.

MORE ABOUT THE FILM
SHARK GIRL was born from a need to make a movie that was entirely our own creation. As writers/ directors, Rob and I put our heart and soul into making this film, and what we lacked in budget we made up for with invention and creativity. We wanted to create a monster that’s entirely new to the genre, one that the audience can identify with – good or bad – and we found the perfect actress to play Shark Girl in Alexandra Corin Johnston. She leads a fearless cast that threw themselves into their roles with total conviction, and we couldn’t be more proud of each and every performance. The film crosses a few genres – horror, sci-fi, and thriller, to deliver audiences a unique experience, and a new “baddie” to fear, in our Shark Girl monster.
