It’s almost time to return to Cousin’s Beach, friends! In an exciting announcement from Prime Video, The Summer I Turned Pretty returns for its third and final season July 2025 with 11 episodes!

The Summer I Turned Pretty is a young adult novel by Jenny Han and hit Prime Video Series. The story revolves around the life of a teenage girl named Belly Conklin. Over the course of season 1, fans of the books and show watched as Belly let go of her dream of dating her lifelong crush, Conrad Fisher. However, after breaking hearts and realizing his brother Jeremiah may have feelings for her, Belly’s life is turned upside down. After Jeremiah stands her up at the Debutant Ball, Conrad swoops in making her dreams come true as her knight in shining armor. Also, later confessing his feelings for her, and kissing her on the dock.

Season 2 follows the story as Jeremiah has his heart broken by Belly and his brother. On top of all this, her mother’s best friend (and the boy’s mother), Sussannah, dies of cancer. We see how this affects everyone involved and how it ultimately destroys Conrad and Belly’s relationship. As everyone is trying to heal, the beach house is being sold by Sussannah’s estranged sister. Now, Conrad, Belly, Jeremiah, and her brother Steven take it upon themselves to save their memories, friendships, and possibly relationships. At the end of season 2, Belly and Jeremiah aggressively rekindle their relationship. Of course, Conrad doesn’t take this well, but in the end wants Belly to be happy and walks away.

The Summer I Turned Pretty season 3 will tackle the third and final book of the series. Belly is now a college student, and the story explores her evolving feelings and the complexities of her relationships with the Fisher boys. The love triangle between Belly, Conrad, and Jeremiah continues to be central to the plot, and tensions rise as Belly must confront her feelings for both brothers.

Conrad fans, like myself, are more than excited for the series to wrap up with the book storyline. However, it’s possible for there to be changes, and twists. This wouldn’t be the first time a TV Series didn’t follow the books. But so far, the series has followed the books while expanding on the storylines. I’m crossing all the things.
