Today was a big day for Formula One fans. This year’s lineup of teams and drivers took place in a live unveiling event, F1 75 Live, at The O2 in London. During the event, Apple TV also revealed a special behind-the-scenes look at its upcoming feature film, F1.

The new clip features footage from the track, showing off both Hollywood stars and F1 drivers. It also includes plenty of teases about the feature’s commitment to truly delving into the F1 world and recreating that experience for movie audiences. Tom Cruise promises “groundbreaking” camera technology, while producer Jerry Bruckheimer talked up F1’s “unprecedented access to the tracks.”

And maybe most promising of all, F1 driver and film producer Lewis Hamilton says, “The F1 movie is as authentic a racing movie has ever been.”

Check out the behind-the-scenes clip below.

F1 was created in collaboration with all 10 Formula 1 teams, as well as drivers on the grid, the FIA, and race promoters.

The film stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, a Formula One driver who retired after a terrible crash. But he’s lured out of retirement to train a rookie prodigy, played by Damson Idris, for the Apex Grand Prix race.

Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick) directs the feature. In addition to Pitt, the film also stars Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, Shea Wigham, Joseph Balderrama, Sarah Niles, Samson Kayo, Callie Cooke, and Layne Harper.

Besides the actors, the film will also feature appearances by real Formula One drivers. Confirmed appearances include Hamilton, George Russell, Max Verstappen, Sergio Pérez, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Lando Norris, Oscar Piastri, Fernando Alonso, Lance Stroll, Pierre Gasly, Esteban Ocon, Valtteri Bottas, Zhou Guanyu, Nico Hülkenberg, Kevin Magnussen, Daniel Ricciardo, Yuki Tsunoda, Logan Sargeant, and Alexander Albon.

The feature recently released a new promo during the Super Bowl, which you can see below.

F1 premieres in theaters June 27.
