“The Thundermans: Undercover” is a new spin-off series based on the beloved Nickelodeon series. It’s wild to think that it has been 12 years since the release of the original live-action series. Just as viewers grew up with the characters, so did the actors, giving them the best perspective for this new series, which is why both Kira Kosarin and Jack Griffo not only star in the series but also serve as executive producers.

With the release of “The Thundermans: Undercover” I spoke with the three lead actors and superheroes. This included Kira Kosarin, who plays Phoebe, Jack Griffo who plays Max, and Maya Le Clark who plays Chloe. In our conversation, we talked about how excited they were to be back on Nickelodeon playing a superhero family again. Clark shares with me her thoughts on playing a bigger role in this series, and both Kosarin and Griffo tell us how different this is now that they are not only more experienced actors but also serving as executive producers. ABOUT “THE THUNDERMANS: UNDERCOVER”
the half-hour series follows Phoebe and Max as they are sent undercover to handle a new threat in the beachside town of Secret Shores and bring Chloe along to develop her superhero talent. The Thundermans: Undercover will air regularly Wednesdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon and will roll out internationally on Nickelodeon channels later in the year.
