“Like Father Like Son” from Lionsgate is in theaters, digital, and on-demand on January 31. The thriller feature hails from writer and director Barry Jay. It explores the idea that violent tendencies could be inherited and that no matter what you do try and escape your fate, you may not have a choice. Especially if your father is a murderer.

A CHAT WITH THE DIRECTOR AND STAR

With the release of “Like Father Like Son”, I spoke with writer and director Barry Jay and the star of the film, Dylan Flashner. In conversation, we talk about Flashner’s character, Eli, who tries and tries to lead a normal life only to be drawn back to being violent. All this despite hating his father and wanting to be nothing like him. All while also exploring the theme of being inherently violent. It’s an interesting conversation that you can check out below.
