After the shocking events at the Sekai Taikai in Barcelona, Cobra Kai fans have been anxiously awaiting the fate of the tournament and its competitors. But we will finally get to see the fallout in the show’s final chapter when season six part three of the Karate Kid sequel series drops on Netflix next month. And ahead of the release of the last batch of episodes, the streamer has unleashed a new teaser that brings everything back to the beginning of the franchise.

Senseis Daniel LaRusso and Johnny Lawrence prepare their champions for battle in this new look at the last five episodes of Cobra Kai from the official Netflix YouTube channel. As Miguel, Robby, Sam, and Tory train, we hear the voice of Sekai Taikai representative Gunther Braun, who has apparently brought his prestigious tournament from Spain to The Valley in the United States. This move brings the story full circle as we’ve come back to where it all ends where it started: a karate tournament in Los Angeles.

But with the whole world watching after tragedy struck during the last live broadcast, how will the competition to crown the best around conclude without even more scandal? We’ll find out in a few short weeks.

If you’re bummed that Cobra Kai is coming to an end in February, you should be relieved to know that this won’t be the only project coming our way from the world of The Karate Kid this year. Ralph Macchio’s Daniel-san will return to the big screen alongside Jackie Chan’s Mr. Han from the 2010 movie to take on an all-new student in the form of American Born Chinese star Ben Wang in Karate Kid: Legends, which hits theaters on May 30, 2025. But first, Cobra Kai wraps up their six-season run on Netflix February 13, 2025.
