Some news regarding season 2 of the Disney/Star Wars series “Ahsoka”. Scottish actor Rory McCann will replace late actor Ray Stevenson in the series. This has been confirmed by The Hollywood Reporter.
In the Disney+ series, “Ahsoka” Stevenson played former Jedi, Baylan Skoll. Unfortunately, Stevenson passed away after a brief illness in May of 2023, three months before the series premiered. McCann is best known for his burly role as The Hound in HBO’s “Game of Thrones”. He recently starred in Paramount Pictures’ “Gladiator II”
“Ahsoka” stars Rosario Dawson as the former Jedi, Ahsoka Tano. In the first season, we see her team up with a former apprentice to stop the evil Empire from once again re-forming.
Currently, its unknown when the next season of the series is going to start shooting. Also, we are waiting on word regarding who will be the director. Dave Filoni was the showrunner for the first season and will be returning for season 2.
