CRUEL INTENTIONS: Sara Goodman & Phoebe Fisher
So, here’s the full Cruel Intentions description from Prime Video:
Cruel Intentions follows the elite students of Manchester College, a Washington, D.C.-adjacent university. At Manchester, reputation means everything, fraternities and sororities are the gold standard, and two ruthless step-siblings, Caroline Merteuil and Lucien Belmont, will do anything to stay on top of the cutthroat social hierarchy. After a brutal hazing incident threatens the entire Greek Life system, they’ll do whatever is necessary to preserve their power and reputation – even if that means seducing Annie Grover, the daughter of the Vice President of the United States. Hearts will be broken, loyalties will be tested, and secrets will be revealed in this modern-day royal court.
The series stars Sarah Catherine Hook (First Kill)as Catherine, Zac Burgess as Lucien, and Savannah Lee Smith (Gossip Girl) as Annie. Additional series stars include Sara Silva, John Harlan Kim, Khobe Clarke, and Sean Patrick Thomas, as well as Brooke Lena Johnson.
Cruel Intentions is a new twist on the 1999 feature film. The film stars Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, Reese Witherspoon, and Selma Blair. So now, 25 years after the original feature captured audiences with its manipulative characters, Prime Video hopes to grab viewers for a new twisted story.
The series will include eight episodes and premiere globally on Prime Video on November 21. Until then, check back to THS for more updates.
