‘Wednesday’ Season 2 Adds Lady Gaga To Cast

Wednesday is a rather fascinating spinoff of the 1938 The Addams Family cartoon by Charles Addams. Not least of which is that it’s the latest live-action adaptation of that dark comedy franchise. It’s not the first though. The original The Addams Family black and white TV series from 1964 claims that honored title. It’s quite an achievement for this franchise to be this popular even after so many decades since its inception.

Perhaps this is why Netflix have already ordered a second season of Wednesday to complement the first. Perhaps it’s also why Netflix is so eager to hype up this upcoming season 2. Starting with an announcement of an addition to the ever-growing cast. An addition whose name might sound familiar to you. Have you ever heard of someone named Lady Gaga, by any chance?

Wednesday Season 2: Lady Gaga Details

Entertainment Weekly has just exclusively learned that Netflix has added Lady Gaga to the list of cast members for the upcoming Wednesday season 2. Alas, they have no idea who she is going to play in that second season. The source didn’t mention that. All we know from them is that Lady Gaga will be playing in a role there, and that she is currently filming for the series somewhere in Europe, and that’s it. We will just have to wait for further information from Netflix to clarify that matter at a later date.

As for the upcoming second season of Wednesday: we do still know that Jenna Ortega will continue to star in that series as the titular Wednesday Addams. Tim Burton will be directing four episodes of season 2, with Paco Cabezas and Angela Robinson also directing. Alas, all we know about its release date is that this second season will make its debut sometime in 2025, and that’s it. Again, we will just have to wait for Netflix to give us more info later.
