Dive into the dark side of stardom as the final piece of Ti West’s acclaimed horror trilogy hits streaming. MaXXXine will officially arrive on Max this October.
MaXXXine, the follow-up to X and Pearl, follows adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx (Mia Goth) as she finally gets her big break in 1980s Hollywood. But as a mysterious killer stalks starlets, a trail of blood threatens to reveal her sinister past.
MaXXXine will begin streaming on Max starting Friday, October 18. It will also air on linear HBO Saturday, October 19 at 8pm.
The streaming option is a result of the recent partnership between A24 and Max; all A24 films head to the streaming platform following their theatrical release. In addition to MaXXXine, A24’s Tuesday starring Julia Louis-Dreyfus will also begin streaming on Max October 11.
More of a physical media fan? Don’t worry, you can still bring home MaXXXine in October. The film releases on 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD starting October 8. Find out more about the home video release and bonus features here.
In addition to Goth, MaXXXine also stars Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Halsey, Lily Collins, Giancarlo Esposito, and Kevin Bacon.
Can’t get enough of Maxine Minx? Well, the content doesn’t stop at the film trilogy. You can dive into novelizations too. The first book arrives in late September, so you can use that to hold you over until the streaming release.
