Honestly, it seems like The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom just keeps getting better and better the more Nintendo shows off the game. Honestly, it seems like Nintendo are eager to add more hype on top of the already existing hype. And believe me, the hype was already pretty intense after the initial Announcement trailer and then the Traversing Hyrule trailer after that. Now comes a brand new gameplay trailer showing off something called the “Still World”. What is that, you might ask? Well, let’s find out together by watching that very trailer, shall we?

The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom ~ “Into the Still World, a Journey Continued” Trailer Details

I love those moments when a Zelda game delves into horror, this time featuring Zelda herself.

Nintendo of America is proud to announce a new “Into the Still World, a Journey Continued” trailer for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom on YouTube. This new trailer, as you might guess, shows off a new location unique to the game called the Still World. It’s a pretty eldritch location, marked by vast blocks of land tumbled in strange positions, and even people frozen into stone. It’s certainly not a welcoming place in the slightest, adding a touch of horror to the game.

Not only that, but we even have a shocking stinger at the end of that “Into the Still World” trailer. A stinger that seemingly reveals Link who doesn’t look quite right, and is very hostile to Zelda indeed. Could this be an imposter Link? Or a Link under mind control? The return of Dark Link, perhaps? In any case, this just creates an even more fascinating aspect to the story.

A story that won’t take all that long before we can experience it to boot. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will launch on the Nintendo Switch on September 26, 2024. Although it’s not out yet, you can preorder it right now on the Nintendo eShop.

Tune back in to THS to find out more about The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom and other Nintendo games when we do.
