The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom Is one of the most hotly anticipated The Legend of Zelda games in Nintendo history. Not least of which is because of the fact that it’s the first game in the franchise to feature Zelda herself as the main character. Even aside from that though, it looks intensely adorable. Nintendo of America is proud to reveal some gameplay for The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom with that “Traversing Hyrule” trailer above on YouTube. Longtime fans of The Legend of Zelda will find many aspects of the gameplay familiar-looking. Fans of Breath of the Wild will definitely be the first to notice some strong similarities there. Just with a top-down view. Not only in the open world nature of the game, but also in the ability to ride horses. In fact, horse riding seems just as integral to this game as it was in BotW. That combined with the unlockable fast travel points seems like it will make this game a treat.
Fortunately, it won’t be long before we will be able to play this game to find out if it’s on par with Breath of the Wild. The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom will be available on September 26, 2024. It’s only for the Nintendo Switch, of course. In fact, you can preorder this game right now on the Nintendo eShop for $59.99. Both in digital and physical form.
