If there’s one constant at Comic-Con International (SDCC 2024), it’s the spectacle that is the Fandom Party. This year’s event was no different. The big highlight? A live performance from multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jason Derulo. The unofficial *official* kick-off Comic-Con party definitely started the weekend in style. “Hundreds of fans, Comic-Con goers, industry trailblazers, influencers, and top-tier talent converged at the iconic Float at the Hard Rock Hotel with sponsors EA, Z2 and Pinfinity.”
This year’s Fandom Party was a particularly special one Why, you ask? This year marks Fandom’s twentieth anniversary. “Packed with jaw-dropping, immersive, experiences,” last night’s event gave fans, celebrities, and influences alike the perfect experience to begin a raucous weekend of Comic-Con revelry.
The Fandom Party always draws out a slew of celebrities from all walks of entertainment. This year’s attendee’s included:
- Colin Kapernick – athlete

Fandom Party kicks off Comic-Con
One of the best aspects of this annual event is , of course, the diversity of its attendees. You get a little bit of everything and everyone at the Fandom Party. Derulo as the headliner this year, in particular, electrified the crowd and made the picturesque, rooftop venue literally bounce.
Comic-Con 2024 promises an amazing experience for fans this year, certainly. Premieres, reveals, and exclusives, oh my. Any past attendee knows, though, that Comic-Con has evolved far beyond a comic book convention. It’s an all-inclusive, all immersive experience. Few things really drive that notion home, however, than the Fandom Party. For all of us in attendance, we thank Hard Rock and Fandom for getting us in a rocking mood for an incredible weekend to come!
