Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps” gives us the most calm and gentle of the Hashiras for this final training mission. Which is quite ironic, because his training is the most hellish of all the Hashiras. Without a hint of malice on his part to boot.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps”: Synopsis
Alas, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is an ongoing anime series. In fact, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps” only just premiered three days ago as of this writing. Thus, you will all get the official synopsis from Crunchyroll…is what I would like to say, but alas, there’s a problem. This episode has nothing but a blank space where the synopsis should be. Thus, you will all get the official synopsis of the anime as a whole instead, also from Crunchyroll. You can check out that synopsis below:
It is the Taisho Period in Japan. Tanjiro, a kindhearted boy who sells charcoal for a living, finds his family slaughtered by a demon. To make matters worse, his younger sister Nezuko, the sole survivor, has been transformed into a demon herself.
Though devastated by this grim reality, Tanjiro resolves to become a “demon slayer” so that he can turn his sister back into a human, and kill the demon that massacred his family.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps”: The Good
There’s still no question about it. It’s the story of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps” that’s the best part about it. All thanks to Koyoharu Gotouge, who is the creator of the manga this anime is adapted from. All in spite of the fact that not much really happens in this episode if you think about it objectively. The only thing Tanjiro and co. do in this episode is train their heads off. However, this actually gives a big opportunity to explore Tanjiro’s personality even more, as well as how he interacts with all the other trainees. Long story short: he becomes the Team Mom. I find I enjoy watching this kind of wholesomely adorable main character.
Of course, what’s a story without animation? Fortunately, Ufotable continues to maintain a very high level of animation quality for this anime. It’s basically feature-length anime film levels of quality for the entirety of this episode. Props especially for the quality of the food animation. The food looks absolutely scrumptious, even though they’re only roasted fish and riceballs. When you can make those look delicious, you’ve got some great animators there.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps”: The Bad
Alas though, if you’re an action junkie, then Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Hashira Training Arc Ep. 6 “The Strongest of the Demon Slayer Corps” is probably not for you. Yes, there is action in this episode. However, it’s not the kind of high intensity action an action junkie would find all that interesting. If you want that, then I suggest checking out Solo Leveling or Kaiju No. 8. Those are pretty action-packed anime to satisfy any action junkie.
