If you love both Coca-Cola and Marvel, there’s a new collaboration in town. On Monday, the soda company dropped their new themed cans featuring a few fan-favorite Marvel characters.
For the campaign, it unveiled a full list of characters such as Wolverine, Deadpool, Captain America, Daredevil, and many more. However, aside from the heroes portion, there’s also villains included like Loki, Juggernaut, Thanos, and other familiar villains that fans can get their hands on. As things get interesting with Coca-Cola, fans can not only collect these illustrated cans but also have an AR experience. By scanning these characters using Coca-Cola’s website, we can see them come to life in action.
Like many Marvel fans excited about this collaboration, Disney mentioned how everything came to be. Mindy Hamilton, Senior Vice President of Global Marketing Partnerships at The Walt Disney Company, stated that the corporate alliance with Coca-Cola positioned them to develop something remarkably innovative. “We took the traditional marketing paradigm and redefined it in the best way possible,” she said. Hamilton also added, “an unprecedented campaign that taps into the power of the Marvel Universe” and, “tells stories in a way that can only be done when Coca-Cola and Disney come together.”
