Hulu’s Letterkenny has unfortunately come to an end. This past December, we received the last six episodes of the beloved Canadian comedy sitcom that spans 12 seasons and several specials. In its final season, Letterkenny would treat fans with the same laughs but add a layer of depth that we have not seen in previous seasons, making it even harder to let these characters go.
Part of that emotional range that we see in the final season of Letterkenny is watching the characters coming together more like family instead of separate groups. You get the feeling that if anyone was to leave the town, those left behind would lose part of themselves.
A prime example of this is Katy’s thoughts about possibly moving to Mexico and the effect that it has on the Hockey Players. All of a sudden we see them a lot more caring and thoughtful. On behalf of ThatHashTagShow Manny Gomez had the opportunity to speak with Michelle Mylett, who plays Katy and Dylan Playfair, who plays Reilly. They talk about their character opening up with one another and Katy shares some words to all of the Letterkenny Fans. It was a great conversation that you can check out here.
Here is the description of Letterkenny provided by Hulu:
The residents of Letterkenny belong to one of three groups: the Hicks, the Skids, and the Hockey Players, who are constantly feuding over seemingly trivial matters that often end with someone getting their ass kicked.
In Season 12, the small town contends with a comedy night at Modean’s, a country music hit, the Degens’ bad influence, a new nightclub, and an encore at the Ag Hall. And that’s just for starters.
You can check out all 12 seasons of Letterkenny now on Hulu.
