The new film from Vertical, He Went That Way,  takes place in 1964. The film is a gripping thriller that draws inspiration from a true crime story, as well as adding a dark twist to the classic buddy road trip genre. 

The film centers around Bobby, a 19-year-old serial killer portrayed by Jacob Elordi (Saltburn). So, Bobby finds himself hitchhiking on a desolate section of Route 66. However, he is picked up by Jim, a renowned animal handler played by Zachary Quinto (Heroes). Jim also happens to be transporting his beloved chimpanzee, Spanky, a beloved TV star. 

As tensions escalate and the clash of their volatile personalities intensifies, the journey becomes increasingly perilous with each passing mile.

In the new clip of He Went That Way, we see Bobby trick Jim into a stick-up with the oldest come closer trick in the book. Will Jim get out of it or is this the ending of his story?
