AEW will be hosting AEW: Full Gear live from the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, CA this Saturday, November 18th. The main card will host a total of 8 matches with 5 championships being defended. The Zero Hour portion will also feature a championship match as current AEW World Champion and Ring of Honor tag team champion MJF will defend the tag team titles with a partner to be determined against Bullet Club’s Gold The Gunns.

On paper, AEW looks to continue the trend of fantastic matches with some rematches from previous pay per view events, along with both Womens’ championships on the line and a solid 4-way tag team match for the AEW Tag Team championships. Here’s the 4 burning questions I have for the show this Saturday.
Are the Golden Jets here to stay, or will the Young Bucks end their tag team?
The Young Bucks have been in somewhat a limbo; they lost at AEW: All In London to then AEW Tag Team champions FTR. They would go on and win the right to challenge the champions at a future date at AEW: WrestleDream. Now, the hottest tag team that is not in the AEW Tag Team championship 4-Four-way match would be the Golden Jets Kenny Omega and Chris Jericho. Are the Bucks truly happy with their position in the company? Are they still upset with the Brawl Out event and how it was handled afterwards? I do not think so. However I do think the Jackson brothers need a change of pace. They need to go full heel and what better way to complete that by beating down one of their Elite brothers in Omega? I do believe outside of the aforementioned 4-way tag match, these are the next two teams that could claim championship gold. This Saturday, in a town the Bucks became influential I do see them losing to the Golden Jets as they continue their rise towards the championships.
Will Orange Cassidy finally overcome Jon Moxley and avenge his first main event lost in AEW?
Is the International Championship cursed? It cannot be, right? Just because Jon Moxley got a shortened reign because of injury, or that Rey Fenix – the man who beat Moxley for the championship – also ended up injured, which led to current champion Orange Cassidy on his second reign with the championship. Cassidy is no longer needed as a champion as nothing will match his first run with the title, and we all must believe that the 17-day reign Moxley held the title for was not the ideal scenario. The sequel is almost never better than the first, and this second encounter between the two could not possibly match the drama and high stakes the first matchup had and felt throughout that night in Chicago from AEW: All Out. I do believe the short reign Moxley had was not the layout they had planned and I do see Moxley continuing his win streak over OC and begins his second reign as AEW International champion.
Can Hangman Page avenge the loss that Swerve Strickland handed him at AEW: WrestleDream?
You know how I just mentioned how the sequel is almost never better than the original? Well, this second matchup is going to be The Dark Knight. I did not think this match could get any more personal after AEW: WrestleDream; however, it has with the reemergence of Hangman Page. After his promo this past Wednesday on AEW: Dynamite, we got to see a side of Hangman that has been dormant since his run to the AEW World Championship. That same championship that Swerve Strickland looks to claim in the near future.
Verbal bars and that first encounter now in the past, we get two of the next probable challengers to the world title in a Texas Deathmatch. A matchup that Hangman has yet to lose in his AEW career. Can Swerve go 2-0 against the former AEW World Champion and solidify himself as the next top challenger, or will Hangman keep his undefeated streak in Texas Deathmatches and avenge the heartbreaking loss he suffered last month? This is the only matchup still up in the air to me; I am pulling for Swerve, however I do believe that Hangman evens the series which will probably lead to the third and final match between the two stars.
Does MJF reclaim his championship belt and continue his historic reign over Jay White, and where does the Man in the Mask fit in?
Here we are: the AEW World Championship match will be the main event of a pay per view, which has not occurred for the last two events. MJF will look to finally put an end to Switchblade Jay White as they will finally go one-on-one for the championship currently in Jay White’s possession.
I am fan of both stars, as MJF has been on a tear ever since he was in AEW really, while Jay White has proven that you can improve over time and change your character to become a success. White may have more accolades with his time in New Japan Pro Wrestling, winning all the major championships the company can offer. On the other hand, MJF has gone on to become one of the best AEW World champions in the company’s small existence. Now, here comes the tricky part. MJF will likely retain the championship and take back the belt from White. However, what is the scenario here? Will MJF pin him clean? The only option I see is a clean pin. MJF has had the best match or at least most invested match on each show he has been on. From the Iron Man match with Bryan Danielson, the Four Pillars of AEW match, Adam Cole, Samoa Joe, Kenny Omega. Each match has delivered. I do believe any interference from Bullet Club Gold will be negated as the Man in the Devil mask along with the henchmen will definitely affect the final outcome of the match.
Also, will AEW finally reveal the person behind the mask? After long talks with friends and colleagues alike, we think they will hold off the reveal until AEW: Worlds End. Just because the reveal is not happening, does not mean he will not affect the match. I see MJF retaining clean or with assistance from the Man in the Devil mask, which will only lead to a clearer picture of who wears the mask.
