Fans of the Berserk manga might recall it’s been stuck on a hiatus for a while now. Specifically: Ch. 373 has been the last chapter ever since Summer 2023. It’s not surprising, really. The death of Kentaro Miura back in 2021 really threw the future of the manga (and by extension, the anime) into serious question. You know, because he was the mangaka of said manga? Fortunately, Kouji Mori managed to continue the manga using notes and storyboards from the late Miura himself. That said, the manga still gets a lot of hiatuses, including this current one. Fortunately, we just got some info that suggests that said hiatus might be near its end.

Berserk Ch. 374: Details

Doratan, an artist who was one of the lead assistants to the late Kentaro Miura, has recently posted a Tweet revealing something very interesting about Berserk Ch. 374. Under their Twitter handle Drache Doratan: they revealed that Ch. 374 is actually complete as of August 27, 2023. However, despite its completion, they mention that it’s not ready for release yet. It seems that they still need to put the finishing touches on Ch. 374 before actually releasing it for everyone to see.

Unfortunately, what Doratan doesn’t reveal is when that will be. They mention that “it’s up to the editorial department to decide what to post”, but don’t mention when the editorial department will release Ch. 374. Doratan only tells everyone to “please wait a little longer”, and that’s the closest we have to a release date. Hopefully, it will come soon.
