Who doesn’t love true crime? Coming soon to PeacockTV is a dark-comedy-thriller, Based On A True Story. The new series is about a realtor, a former tennis star, and a plumber who seizes a unique opportunity to capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime. The series stars Emmy nominee Kaley Cuoco, as well as Chris Messina, and Tom Bateman.
The show comes from creator/showrunner/executive producer/writer Craig Rosenberg (The Boys). Previously, the network released first-look images, and now we have a trailer!
BASED ON A TRUE STORY TRAILER
In addition to Cuoco, Messina, and Bateman, the series also stars Priscilla Quintana, Liana Liberato, Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, and Li Jun Li.
Based On A True Story will include 8 episodes. The series premieres on Peacock on June 8.
