What’s better than seeing a brand-new gameplay trailer for the upcoming Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon? How about getting that trailer and a release date for it? Don’t believe me? Then why not check out that gameplay trailer for yourself below, and see the epic mech-on-mech action for yourself?

Armored Core VI: Fires Of Rubicon ~ Now with All the Giant Mechs

The only thing better than an open world game is an open world game with giant mechs.

Bandai Namco Entertainment America has just released a brand new gameplay trailer for Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon on YouTube. According to the trailer, this latest entry in the Armored Core series from FromSoftware (Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Elden Ring) will feature some pretty epic boss battles with some pretty crazy giant mechs. Heck, even some of the normal mechs you fight look pretty fearsome.

The list of giant mech bosses in this Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon gameplay trailer includes a massive multi-legged walker that would put an AT-AT to shame, a huge robotic worm with a roller-cone drill bit for a head, and a good old-fashioned supersized tank. However, even for the normal enemies, there’s a lot of variety. We see a shield-wielding mech early on that requires some flanking to bypass. We even see what looks like an Armored Core version of a droideka from Star Wars. Honestly, this seems like the most variety of enemies we’ve ever seen in any Armored Core game. It’s really hyping up the game for me, as a bit of a fan of the series.

Fortunately, we don’t have long to wait before we finally get to play it. At the end of the gameplay trailer, it tells us that Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will release on August 25, 2023. The game will be for the PC via Steam, PS4/PS5, and Xbox One and Xbox Series S/X. Thus, you’re spoiled for choice as to which system you want to play it on.
