Anyone, who is a true Star Wars fan, will not only know Boba Fett, but his “father” Jango Fett too. The reason father is quotations is because Boba is not Jango Fett’s son, but rather, Jango Fett himself.
Boba, as we know, is a clone. Jango intended to raise him as as his son. Jango requested him as part of his contract with the Kaminoans. As a clone, Boba Fett shared 100% Jango’s DNA, giving him the same genetic advantages. Would Boba Fett’s life of cut-throat gang land mercenary work give him an advantage over Jango Fett? Or would Jango Fett’s years of training be too much for Jango to handle?
Jango Fett
In the context of the Star Wars universe Jango Fett was regarded as the best mercenary in the galaxy during the final years of the Republic. He was a naturally skilled warrior, which eventually led him to being chosen to serve as the genetic template for the Galactic Republic’s entire Clone Army . The clone soldiers were almost a 100% genetic match with Jango, but were genetically modified to be unquestioningly obedient to the chain of command, unlike Jango himself.
Boba Fett
We first see Boba Fett in The Empire Strikes Back as one of six bounty hunters Vader hires. Vader promises a reward to whoever captures the crew of the Millennium Falcon. In Return of the Jedi, Boba Fett turns up at Jabba the Hutt’s palace. There, he accompanies Jabba on his sail barge to the Great Pit of Carkoon, home of the Sarlacc. When the prisoners mount an escape he intervenes, and ends up in a tussle with Luke Skywalker. After Han Solo accidentally ignites Fett’s rocket pack, sending the bounty hunter falling into the Sarlacc’s mouth.
THE BATTLE CONTINUES
Jango could already handle a blaster at age 8, as well as shrug off a cut in the chest with a vibroblade, all with no formal fighting experience. That’s also the age he started his Mandalorian training under Jaster Mereel…. When he was only 22, unarmed and on the edge of defeat, he killed six Jedi with his bare hands. After spending two years as a slave, malnourished and overworked, he was still able to fight his way out and escape, personally attacking Death Watch and holding his own against Tor Vizsla, a much older and experienced man. Years later, at age 44, he was able to match Obi-Wan Kenobi, a jedi and a younger man by at least 8 years, in a fight.

Boba’s History
Boba, at age 10, and armed with nothing more than a jetpack, was able to secure a tooth from the Balyeg, arguably one of the fiercest and scariest creatures in the galaxy, and whose tooth was about the same size as Boba himself…. At age 11, he was familiar with most of the weaponry and layout of a Venator-class Star Destroyer, and exceeded expectations during target practice, hitting all 3 skeets from a great distance away while traveling at high speeds. This was also when he made his first attempt on Mace Windu’s life…. [D]espite failing in his task, still managed to take down the destroyer single-handedly and badly injure Windu in the process, having him at his mercy before Republic forces showed up.

Boba Takes on Obi-Wan
At age 12, he was able to briefly hold his own against a disguised Obi-Wan, before ultimately losing. At the same age he was already leading his own team of bounty hunters and he was able to fend off several Kage warriors attacking at once with a mixture of combat and marksmanship. [By] age 13, he made his second attempt on Windu’s life, engaging him in combat. The fight ended in a stalemate, with each battered and wounded, ready to strike their final blows against one another.
The fight was stopped before either could make a move. Boba was paid as insurance, and he put the past behind him. This was also when he first repainted his armor in its iconic green, when he became a fully-fledged bounty hunter… and the age that Mandalorians would be considered adults….. Boba would win a lot of fights, but there’re too many to name individually.

Both Boba and Jango certainly have genetic advantages. They both have incredible feats under their belts at young ages, and both faced Jedi at one point or another. There is no way to know forsure who would win, but we definitely want to know what you think! Let us know in the comments below. Is Jango your bet? Maybe Boba? Let us know!
Boba is a well trained thug. Jango a well trained Warrior. Warrior’s plan their combat to have maximum effect for minimal effort. Thugs just get lucky. My money is on Jango.
I like Boba BUT Jango would win no doubt. He has had better training from Madalore (Legends) itself. Another thing is how they died. Jango was decapitated by a jedi, while Boba was killed by getting hit in the back by a blind man with a stick. Jango seems more capable.
I bet Boba.
Bobs has slightly better feats and almost killed Windu twice while Jango was killed by Windu on contact
I bet boba because he survived the salac pit
I bet Boba. Because he survived the pit,and he ended up in the Mandalorian, and he killed the tw lek
So I think jango is gonna get defeated because Bubba survived the pit,and he ended up in the Mandalorian chapter 14,And Han Solo didn’t defeat Boba fett ,there.
idk who would win but I think Jango has had a lot of training and he has duel laser pistols so ya.
P.S. when you look at their armor Jango’s looks like it is a lot more up to date than Boba’s
