One of the most iconic horror franchises of all time continues with a new installment this month. But Scream VI promises more than just a change of scenery. The film’s cast and crew all agree that this Ghostface brings something new (and scary) to the table.
“With each film, Ghostface is getting more intense,” teased star Jenna Ortega.
Scream VI’s killer is “the most ruthless” of all, added Melissa Barrera.
And if you don’t believe them, take it from Ghostface themself.
“There’s never been one like me. I’m something different,” the masked killer taunts in the teaser footage.

Following the latest Ghostface killings, the four survivors leave Woodsboro behind and start a fresh chapter. In Scream VI, Melissa Barrera (“Sam Carpenter”), Jasmin Savoy Brown (“Mindy Meeks-Martin”), Mason Gooding (“Chad Meeks-Martin”), Jenna Ortega (“Tara Carpenter”), Hayden Panettiere (“Kirby Reed”) and Courteney Cox (“Gale Weathers”) return to their roles in the franchise alongside Jack Champion, Henry Czerny, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Devyn Nekoda, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
But who’s behind the mask of the “most ruthless” Ghostface yet? We’ll just have to wait and see.
