Another Supernatural star will appear on The Winchesters soon. Ruth Connell will guest star in the upcoming twelfth episode of season 1. According to Entertainment Weekly, Connell will reprise her role as the witch Rowena.

Connell’s character first appeared in Supernatural season 10 as Crowley’s (Mark Sheppard) mother. Over time, she allied herself with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles). In the final season of the series, she sacrificed herself to help save the world – and then took over Hell.

That said, since The Winchesters timeline predates Supernatural, Rowena probably won’t bring the hellfire. (Although we’re not ruling it out completely. You never know what’s going on in these timelines.)

Connell will appear in the penultimate episode of the season, titled “The Tears of a Clown.” Here’s the episode description:

Mary and John’s tense discussion is interrupted when Carlos and Latika arrive to discuss a mystery involving a creepy clown. Meanwhile, Ada makes an interesting discovery.

Connell is the latest Supernatural alum to appear in the CW prequel; Richard Speight Jr. reprised his role as Loki, and Rob Benedict makes a cameo as well.

The Winchesters airs Tuesdays at 8pm ET/PT on the CW. Connell’s reprise as Rowena will happen in episode 1×12, airing February 28.
