Netflix’s new film True Spirit tells the true story of 16-year-old Australian sailor, Jessica Watson. At the age of 16, Jessica Watson set sail on her journey to be the youngest sailor to circumnavigate the globe…solo. Jessica wrote a book, as well as created a documentary with the use of her video journals along the way.

I had a chance to sit down and talk with both actress Teagan Croft and Jessica Watson about the film. We discussed what it was like for Jessica to see her journey come to life.
