Get ready to return to Wakanda on Disney+. If you didn’t catch Black Panther: Wakanda Forever in theaters – or you’re just eager to watch it again – listen up. The Marvel flick officially starts streaming on Disney+ tonight.
That is to say, tonight at midnight Pacific time. So, technically it’s arriving in the early hours of February 1.
In Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, Queen Ramonda, Shuri, M’Baku, Okoye, and the Dora Milaje fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with Nakia and Everett Ross to forge a new path for their beloved kingdom.
The sequel sees the return of director Ryan Coogler and much of the first film’s cast, including Angela Bassett, Letitia Wright, Lupita Nyong’o, Winston Duke, Danai Gurira, and Martin Freeman. It also introduces significant new faces, including Tenoch Huerta’s Namor and Dominique Thorne’s Riri Williams.
If you don’t have Disney+, you can still get your hands on a copy of Wakanda Forever soon. The film releases on digital VOD February 1, and the DVD/Blu-ray hard copies will drop on February 7.
However you do it, you won’t want to miss the movie’s tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman, or the Oscar-nominated performance by Bassett.
Black Panther: Wakanda Forever begins streaming on Disney+ February 1.
