Start your engines. Your first look at Gran Turismo is here.

Sony Pictures gave fans a sneak peek at the upcoming film at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, the film sees a teenage Gran Turismo player win a series of competitions, ultimately leading to a role as a professional racecar driver.

The first look footage highlights the crossover between the video game racing worlds and real-life tracks. Based on this sneak peek, it looks like the movie will include a mixture of clips from the Gran Turismo PlayStation game and footage of actual racetracks.

Gran Turismo comes from writers Jason Hall and Zach Baylin. Neill Blomkamp directs. 

The film’s cast includes David Harbour, Orlando Bloom, Archie Madekwe, Darren Barnet, Geri Halliwell Horner, and Djimon Hounsou.

Gran Turismo will premiere this summer. Look out for it exclusively in theaters August 11.
