Alice Cooper has been home to some of the best musicians we’ve seen, Nita Strauss, is one of those musicians. Now, she’s moving on to a different opportunity and canceling dates with her solo band as well. In an Instagram post, she broke the news about her departure from the band and thanked Alice Cooper and the rest of the band for eight wonderful years.
She says that her touring schedule is very full and that she’s not pregnant, so we’ll have to see what opportunity arose for her to leave Alice Cooper and her solo band for the year. There’s no word on who will step in as the guitarist for Alice Cooper’s band. Looking at the landscape of hard rock and heavy metal, there aren’t too many openings for guitarists. It’s hard to speculate, but Nita would be great wherever she plays. She’s among the best and most showy guitarists on the planet.
