Wolverine #22 Brian Dawkins Variant
hustl. announced today that Pro Football legend Brian Dawkins and Marvel’s Wolverine, will take to the gridiron on a limited-edition comic book variant cover to celebrate the release of WOLVERINE #22. This exclusive variant is a limited edition of only 3,000 books and is available for purchase at TheHaul.com as of June 15, 2022.
Regarded as one of the greatest safeties of all time, Dawkins takes the field for his first appearance on a Marvel comic cover. Known by many as the NFL’s “Weapon X” due to his relentless aggression as a player, Dawkins was named to 9 Pro Bowls, 5 All-Pro first teams, and made an appearance in Super Bowl XXXIX with the Philadelphia Eagles during his outstanding 16-year career.

WOLVERINE #22 continues the ongoing series by writer Benjamin Percy and artist Adam Kubert. In this story, Wolverine is trapped in an adamantium prison and it’s likely Deadpool’s fault. But the betrayal of Wolverine’s former ally Maverick stings most of all! Just what is so valuable that it pits mutant against mutant… against the C.I.A.? While Dawkins is not in the story or Wolverine series, he will appear on this special variant cover as a limited edition collectible to celebrate his affinity for the original Weapon X, Wolverine.
