Netflix’s upcoming Kung Fu Panda series just announced some kickin’ cast members. The series will feature both the first major voice acting debut for singer Rita Ora and the return of James Hong.

Hong will reprise his Kung Fu Panda film franchise role as Mr. Ping, Po’s adoptive father.

Ora will voice a new character for the series, Wandering Blade. The character is described as “a tough English bear knight” that joins Po on his adventure.

The pair will join Jack Black for the animated show, who is confirmed to be reprising his role as Po the Panda.

The upcoming Netflix series, titled Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, will follow Po on a new globe-trotting adventure. When a mysterious pair of weasels set their sights on a collection of four powerful weapons, Po must leave his home to embark on a globe-trotting quest for redemption and justice that finds him partnered up with a no-nonsense English knight named Wandering Blade. Together, these two mismatched warriors set out on an epic adventure to find the magical weapons first and save the world from destruction — and they may even learn a thing or two from each other along the way.

The voice cast for the series also includes Chris Geere as Klaus Dumont; Della Saba as Veruca Dumont; Rahnuma Panthaky as Rukhmini; Ed Weeks as Colin; and Amy Hill as Pei Pei.

DreamWorks Animation created the series for Netflix. It will premiere on the streaming platform this July.
