So if you love music, you might know the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Their bassist, Flea, is a big movie fan, and has made appearances in plenty of movies throughout his career. A new report from our friends at Star Wars News Net says that the bassist is making an appearance in the upcoming Star Wars series. Their sources say:
The new Obi-Wan Kenobi show will have an appearance from Flea, from the rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. We also know that he will be wielding a cool-looking blaster.
Star Wars has a history of giving out cameos to people, most of them aren’t musicians, but Flea is a special exception. He’s made appearances in movies like Back To The Future, The Big Lebowski, and Baby Driver. Most recently, The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett saw cameos from Danny Trejo, Jason Sudeikis, and an extended role for Bill Burr. Obi-Wan Kenobi releases on Disney+ on May 27th, 2022.
