Def Leppard is putting out a new album in advance of their Stadium Tour with Motley Crue, Joan Jett, and Poison. The new album titled Diamond Star Halos comes out May 27th, 2022. The band’s twelfth full-length album is their first release since 2015’s Def Leppard. The album features Joe Elliot on vocals, Rick Savage on bass guitar, Rick Allen on drums, Phil Collen on guitar, and Vivian Campbell on guitar. It also features special guest Alison Krauss on two tracks.

The band put out the first single from the album, “Kick”. Listen to it below.

Diamond Star Halos was recorded over the course of two years simultaneously in three different countries, Ireland, England, and the US. The band poured their energy into the 15 tracks that feature inspiration from David Bowie, T. Rex, and Mott the Hoople. Alison Krauss lends her talents to the tracks “This Guitar” and “Lifeless”. The band got David Bowie pianist Mike Garson to perform on “Goodbye For Good This Time” and “Angels (Can’t Help You Now)”.
