- Meg 2: The Trench has been set for August, 4, 2023.
The DC and Warner Bros. schedule has moved due to COVID-related delays in work environments and scheduling. For some films like The Flash, the delay is more substantial. However, Shazam! Fury of the Gods is moving up in release date, so don’t fret DC fans.
Original Story On Black Adam Delay
DC’s 2022 has already started off strong with the release of The Batman. Now it appears that they’ve moved back two of their more high-profile films. In an Instagram post, Dwayne Johnson confirmed that Black Adam and DC League of Super-Pets have had their release dates pushed back.
Super-Pets will now release July 29th, 2022, which was originally Black Adam‘s release date. Now Black Adam will release October 21st, 2022.
It’s definitely a disappointing development for both of these films, but it’s not too long of a delay. Black Adam stars Dwayne Johnson, Aldis Hodge, Noah Centeno, Quintessa Swindell, Pierce Brosnan, and Sarah Shahi. DC League of Super-Pets stars Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Keanu Reeves, Kate McKinnon, Vanessa Bayer, Natasha Lyonne, and Diego Luna.
It’s unclear what the reasoning behind the delay is.
