Ghostbusters Afterlife was a fitting sequel to the original saga of the Ghostbusters. Now, Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has a brand-new box set coming for the whole series. Including the 4K/Blu-Ray/DVD of Afterlife, the new set has Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II. After some controversy over its exclusion, Sony is including a digital download of the 2016 reboot as well.

The new set is loaded with special features including a never-before-seen cut of the original film, the preview cut. It’s a 114-minute cut of the original film (presented in standard definition) that has alternate takes, additional scenes, and early effects. Another highlight of the release is audition footage of the actresses that lost out to Sigourney Weaver for Dana Barrett.

From the sequel, there are an additional 19 never-before-seen deleted scenes. The new set releases in stores on February 1st, 2022. The packaging includes a special “ghost trap” box with lights and a reprint of the Making Ghostbusters book.
