The wheel of time keeps turning… and bringing us closer and closer to the official release of the Amazon Prime series.

The Wheel of Time officially arrives in November. So, Amazon has been slowly but surely rolling out new content to intrigue old fans and new alike. Today, we got a new poster for the series featuring both the band of heroes and some ominous floating villains.

Wheel of Time is based on the bestselling fantasy books of the same name by Robert Jordan. The series follows Moiraine (Rosamund Pike), a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai, as she arrives in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity. 

Season one premieres November 19 on Amazon Prime Video. The first three episodes of the season will drop on the 19th, with a new episode airing every subsequent Friday.

Expect more details on Wheel of Time to drop soon. The series has a panel at New York Comic Con Friday October 8. The core cast, as well as showrunner Rafe Judkins, are expected to attend. We don’t know for sure if the series will drop new footage, but with the official release so close, it definitely seems possible.
