Laurie Strode really, really can’t catch a break. Her killer adversary Michael Myers is back, and he seems more determined – and deadly – than ever in the new Halloween Kills trailer.
You can catch the latest look at the film in the final trailer below.
The final trailer for Halloween Kills provides plenty of thrills with Michael jumping into action, hinting at more than a few brutal kills. And of course, we also get a glimpse of Laurie’s determination to finally end him, once and for all.
(Yes, she did think that’s what she was doing the last time. And the time before that. And the time before… you know what, you get the idea.)
Here’s the official synopsis from Universal:
The Halloween night when Michael Myers returned isn’t over yet.
Minutes after Laurie Strode (Curtis), her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) left masked monster Michael Myers caged and burning in Laurie’s basement, Laurie is rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, believing she finally killed her lifelong tormentor.
But when Michael manages to free himself from Laurie’s trap, his ritual bloodbath resumes. As Laurie fights her pain and prepares to defend herself against him, she inspires all of Haddonfield to rise up against their unstoppable monster.
The Strode women join a group of other survivors of Michael’s first rampage who decide to take matters into their own hands, forming a vigilante mob that sets out to hunt Michael down, once and for all.
Evil dies tonight.
Halloween Kills directly follows 2018’s Halloween, which brought back Curtis’ Laurie Strode from John Carpenter’s 1978 original slasher. Carpenter and Curtis both executive produce the film, along with director David Gordon Green.
Halloween Kills slashes its way onto screens October 15. It will premiere simultaneously in theaters and on Peacock streaming.
