Netflix is bringing us a limited series from Ava DuVernay and Colin Kaepernick called Colin In Black & White. The series tells the coming of age story of Kaepernick’s life. It tackles the issues of race, class, and culture in his life as the adopted child into a white family. Jaden Michael stars as Young Colin before making it big in the NFL. Nick Offerman and Mary- Louise Parker star as his parents Rick and Teresa. Kaepernick appears as the present-day narrator of his own story.
