Iron Maiden’s Senjutsu is almost here. It arrives on September 3rd, 2021, around the world. You can grab it on CD, streaming, or even vinyl. We’re had two looks at tracks off the album in “Writing on the Wall” and “Stratego“. Check out the video below where Adrian Smith talks about the solo on “Writing on the Wall”. He also goes into how he recorded his solos for this album and how it was different from previous ones.
It’s interesting to hear about the solo for “Writing on the Wall” and how lengthy it is. It does make sense that Janick Gers, Dave Murray, and Adrian Smith all do similar length solos for Maiden songs. “Writing on the Wall” has a 32-bar solo from Adrian.
