Twice the episodes. Twice the mystery. And twice the Tony Hale characters. Disney will double down on The Mysterious Benedict Society premiere, releasing two episodes to kick off the series.

The teaser introduces us to the world of The Mysterious Benedict Society. It also showcases Hale’s dual role as twin brothers Mr. Benedict and Mr. Curtain.

Here’s the series description:

After winning a scholarship competition, four gifted orphans are recruited by the peculiar Mr. Benedict for a dangerous mission to save the world from a global crisis known as The Emergency. Reynie, Sticky, Kate, and Constance must infiltrate the mysterious L.I.V.E. Institute to discover the truth behind the crisis. When the headmaster, the sophisticated Dr. Curtain appears to be behind this worldwide panic, the kids of “The Mysterious Benedict Society” must devise a plan to defeat him.

In addition to Hale, the series stars Kristen Schaal, MaameYaa Boafo, Ryan Hurst, Gia Sandhu, Seth B. Carr, Emmy DeOliveira, Mystic Inscho, and Marta Kessler. The series comes from showrunners Darren Swimmer and Todd Slavkin. It’s based on the popular children’s series by Trenton Lee Stewart.

The Mysterious Benedict Society will drop a two-episode premiere this Friday, June 25. The series streams exclusively on Disney+.
