The cast of Knives Out 2 has added another member. According to Deadline, actress Madelyn Cline (Outer Banks, Stranger Things) is joining the cast. The film already includes: Dave Bautista, Edward Norton, Kate Hudson, Leslie Odom Jr., Kathryn Hahn, and Janelle Monae. This is Cline’s first major role outside of Outer Banks.
Johnson is back to direct and write the film with his partner Ram Bergman. We don’t have any plot details at the time. You can guess though, that it’ll be about a mystery involving the gigantic ensemble that they’ve gathered for the film. Production for Knives Out 2 starts in Greece later this summer.
Netflix signed an exclusive deal for two sequels starring Daniel Craig as the detective Benoit Blanc.
Cline already has plenty of experience with Netflix, working on Stranger Things and the series Outer Banks. So this’ll be her third project with the streaming studio.
