Disney and Star Wars have given fans a brand new lightsaber hilt at Galaxy’s Edge. You now can pick up Rey’s lightsaber at the Star Wars expansions for both parks. Star Wars has expanded beyond the films and even into theme parks at Disneyland and Walt Disney World at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The expansions at both resorts opened up in 2019 and have over the years introduced lightsaber hilts from the franchise that sells them at a shop called “Dok Ondar’s Den of Antiquities” at Black Spire Outpost of where the immersive land is based off of.
Rey’s Hilt Looks Absolutely Beautiful, But Where Can You Get It?
For those who were lucky today, Rey’s Lightsaber hilt debuted today! The hilts can be expensive though, as Rey’s goes for the price of $139.99, while it seems (based off the Twitter thread down below) at Disneyland’s Galaxy’s Edge Rey’s hilt costs $149.99. It not’s not clear why Disneyland’s hilt is more expensive versus Walt Disney World’s pricing.
Disney has a build-your-own lightsaber experience that new force users can craft their own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop–Handbuilt Lightsabers and can even chose their own Kyber Crystal as well! Pricing did increase by 10% from $200.00 dollars to $219.00 for both Disney Parks in California and Florida, Disneyland just reopened up recently on April 30th after a near long year closure. In order to do Savi’s Workshop as guests must book a reservation and book their reservation up to 60 days in advance and custom lightsabers are nonrefundable and are not eligible for Annual Passholder or other discounts.
