That may not have been the best move for Darth Maul it kind of cost him his legs, but that didn’t stop this Dark Lord of the Sith from becoming one of the most popular Star Wars characters in the universe. Maul, a Force-sensitive Zabrak male whose time was “cut” short in Star Wars: The Phantom Menace was brought back to popularity thanks to The Clone Wars, Rebels, and even Solo, not to mention the many canon comics he was in. Not only is Maul popular in movies and animated series, but he is also popular with collectors as well. From action figures to statues there is no shortage of Darth Maul merchandise, and that’s to Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant we have another great item to add to that list.

Thanks to our friends over at Diamond Select Toys and Gentle Giant, I am able to share with you my review of their Star Wars: The Phantom Menace – Darth Maul Legends Bust. This half-scale bust gets the Legends 3D treatment. Coming in at approximately 10-inches this bust sets atop a lightsaber-hilt pedestal. Limited to just 1000 pieces this bust retailing at $175 or less is available at Gentle Giant, BigBadToyStore, and some local comic shops.

There really was nothing negative about this statue at all except for maybe making the bottom a little wider. Other than that the paint and details on this bust make it look like it came right out of the movie and into your collection. This is one of the best Darth Maul Busts out there!
