If you are not following Mark Hamill on Twitter you are missing out on some great content. From cosplays in 1977 to National Toast day Hamill has retweeted and responded to some great tweets. This week was no different when Mark Hamill retweeted a meme of young Luke Skywalker looking at his father’s lightsaber in not a safe way. One press of the trigger and Luke would have poked an eye out. Here is what Hamill had to say about that moment.

Mark Hamill’s response to the Luke looking at the lightsaber meme

This makes me cringe every time I see it. I don’t remember doing this in the movie. I think it’s just an on-set production still, otherwise Obi-Wan wouldn’t look so remarkably unconcerned.

Even though it is a set photo and did not happen in the original movie it has given fans a lot of laughs throughout the years. But luckily he did and the laugh will continue for a long time. But come on Luke even though you were just a moisture farmer at the time, you should have known better than to point a lightsaber directly in your face.
