High School Musical: The Series sings on in season 2 with two new faces. Asher Angel and Andrew Barth Feldman join the series as guest stars.
Asher Angel as “Jack”
Angel is known for his role in DC’s Shazam! as well as the Disney series Andi Mack. The actor is also a singer-songwriter. He recently released his debut single “One Thought Away” featuring Wiz Khalifa. In HSM: The Series, Angel will play Jack, “a charming, smooth-talking student with wanderlust.”
Andrew Barth Feldman as “Antoine”
Barth Feldman made his Broadway debut as the title character in Dear Evan Hansen. He runs a theatre company he founded at age 12, and will attend Harvard University next year. In HSM: The Series, Barth Feldman plays Antoine, a French exchange student.
“The cast and I are excited for fans to see how Andrew and Asher expand our East High cinematic universe,” said executive producer Tim Federle.
Asher and Barth Feldman join the following previously announced guest stars for season two:
- Derek Hough as Zack, the new drama teacher at a rival high school
- Roman Banks as Howie, a junior working as a delivery guy for Big Red’s family’s pizza shop
- Oliva Rose Keegan as Lily, an energetic student whose sweetness masks her highly competitive nature
In season two, the East High Wildcats, who are preparing to perform “Beauty and the Beast” as their spring musical, face off against rival school North High to win a prestigious and cutthroat student theater competition.
