Toy Review: Boba Fett Bait X Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Vintage Color Statue

As a Boba Fett fan, I am always excited to add something new to my collection. From figures to pins there seems to be always something new coming out that is Fett related. Well back in November, you may remember that Bait X announced their Boba Fett Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Vintage Color Statue pre-order that was limited to just 500 in North America. Well, I was lucky enough to be one of the five hundred and get my hands on this statue that retailed for $99.99.

Boba Fett Bait X Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Vintage Color Statue

This Statue is a repaint of The Empire Strikes Back Boba Fett statue that you put together when you bought the Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Bounty Hunter lineup. Each Bounty Hunter came with a part of Fett that you completed when you bought all 5. Thankfully we didn’t have to do that with this limited edition vintage color statue.

Pros Of The Boba Fett Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Vintage Color Statue

• The Vintage color look of Boba Fett matches up with the original 1979 Kenner figure.
• Comes with a magnetic base to help support the statue when displayed.
• Comes with braids, his E-3 carbine rifle, and pistol to Give boba Fett a more detailed look.
• The details and sculpt still give you that classic Boba Fett Movie look.
• This statue comes with easy to read directions and is very easy to assemble.
• You are able to move the range finder up and down
• You don’t have to buy five different statues to complete this one.

Cons Of The Boba Fett Kotobukiya ARTFX+ Vintage Color Statue

• This visor needs to be a little darker. It blends in with the red around it.
• Cape is made of plastic would be better as a cloth cape.
• If you are a fan of posing your statues this one has no articulation
• Was limited to 500 in North America

My Final Thoughts

This statue will go great in any collection and is a must-have for any Boba Fett collector. Boba Fett displays nicely and has a great look to it. The vintage colors give it a nostalgic feel while keeping its modern look. Unfortunately, it is sold out at Bait X so your best luck will be heading to eBay to find this statue.
